CHAPTER 187 AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 143-135, RELATING TO THE CONSTRUC- TION OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL AUDITORIUM IN PENDER COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact;
G. S. 143-135 is amended by adding a new paragraph at the end thereof to read as follows: In Pender County, the board of education of said county is authorized to construct a public school auditorium for colored school children in the Burgaw School District, through its duly authorized officers and agents, without the necessity of complying with the provisions of this Article, The cost of the construction of this auditorium shall in no event exceed the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00).
