AN ACT TO PUNISH BRIBERY AND COERCION IN ELECTIONS.

That any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be liable to indictment for the same, and on conviction of having violated the provisions of section one, shall be fined not less than twenty dollars, or imprisoned not less than ten days. And on conviction of having violated the provisions of section two, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars, or imprisoned not less than twenty days. Andon conviction of having violated the provisions of section three, shall be fined not less than twenty dollars, and also imprisoned not less than ten days. And on conviction of having violated section four, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars, and also imprisoned not less than twenty days.
