CHAPTER I. AN ACT TO INCORPORATE RENNOS CAMP GROUND OF THE METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH, SOUTH, AND LOCUST OLD FIELD BAPTIST CHURCH, IN THE COUNTY OF HAYWOOD.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That John Renno, John A. Williams, B. R. Phillips, Henry Renno, A. M. Alexander, A. M. Russell and R. H. Penland, of the Methodist church, South, and Henry Johnson, Levi Clark, Allen Haynes, J. P. Osborne, Washington Haynes, A. J. Osborne and B. L. Pharr, of the Locust Old Field Baptist church, and their successors in office shall be and are hereby declared corporate bodies politic in deed and law by the name and style of the trustees of Rennos Camp Ground and Locust Old Field Baptist Church respectively and aforenamed in the county of Haywood, and said corporations shall have all the powers usually granted to corporations of like nature with power to receive real and personal property by purchase, gift or otherwise.
