CHAPTER LXXXVI. AN ACT TO AMEND THE ACT INCORPORATING THE TOWN OF MORGANTON, AND ACTS AMENDATORY OF SAID ACT.

That any mayor of said town who shall fail or refuse when information shall have been laid before him, on oath, that any person has violated any of the provisions of the third section of this act, to issue a warrant for the persons charged, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars. Ratified the 12th day of March A. D. 1877
