CHAPTER 7 2 i AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSIONERS OF CRAVEN COUNTY TO ISSUE BONDS TO FUND THE COUNTY DEBT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :
That in order to liquidate the bonded and judgment and floating debt of the county of Craven, the commissioners of said county are hereby authorized to issue coupon bonds of the county for an amount not exceeding the said debt, to-wit: one hundred and forty-five thousand dollars, in denominations of twenty ($25.00) five and up to one thousand dollars, to be used for the purpose of discharging the judgments and bonds and floating debt now outstanding by exchanging them at par, and for no other purpose.
