CHAPTER 227 An act to secure the better drainage of the lowlands of Kill Pee Swamp, in Sampson county. T he General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That said company shall have full power and authority to make, frame, adopt and enforce all necessary rules and regulations for its government and for accomplishing and performing the objects and purposes of this act not inconsistent with law.
