CHAPTER 18 An act to authorize the commissioners of Halifax county to fund and pay the debt of said county which has not been funded. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact ;
That said bonds shall be dated as of the second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eightyfive, and shall be due and payable as follows: One-fourth thereof on the second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six ; one-fourth thereof on the second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eightyseven; one-fourth thereof on the second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and onefourth thereof on the second day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine ; and shall be signed by the chairman and countersigned by the clerk of said board ; said clerk shall keep in a book suitable for that purpose a complete record of said bonds.
