CHAPTER 258 An act to amend chapter one hundred and twenty-five, laws of one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact : That chapter one hundred and twenty-five of the laws of North Carolina, passed at the session of one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, being an act to incorporate the Rutherfordton, Marion and Tennessee Railway Com- pany, be and the same is hereby amended as follows, to- wit:
That section iwo of said act be and the same is hereby amended by striking out all after the word same in the third -8 line of said section and preceding the word and in the fourth line, and in lieu thereof insert the following: To such amount as a majority of the stockholders in interest may agree upon at any regular or called meeting of said stockholders.
