CHAPTER 59 An act to amend the charter of the town of Salisbury. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the board of street commissioners may let out the work on the streets by contract to the lowest responsible bidder, or otherwise, or they may employ hands and have the work done; but they shall require the work to commence at the center of the town at the intersection of Main and Inniss streets.
