CHAPTER 1 An act to amend the charter of the town of Mount Airy, North Carolina. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :

That chapter fourteen of the laws of North Carolina, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, Private Acts, amending the charter of the town of Mount Airy, down to the word for in section two in line nine, be and the same is hereby repealed; that the mayor and town commissioners hold their office until the regular election as provided for by law prior to the passage of the abovenamed act, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, amending the charter of the town of Mount Airy, North Carolina. _
