CHAPTER 149 An act to amend the charter of the town of Albemarie, Stanly county. The General Assembly of North Carolinu do enact :

The commissioners of said town shall have power to jevy a tax for each year, not to exceed one dollar and fifty cents on the poll and fifty cents on the one hundred dollars validation of property, said valuation to be the same that is placed thereon to raise revenue for state and county purposes, and that all taxes shall be levied according io article five, section three, of the constitution of the state.
