CHAPTER 17. An act to regulate the issuing of liquor license in Northampton county. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That no such order shall be made unless it appears that notice of the application therefor has been given for thirty days by notices posted at the court-house door in Jackson and four other public places in said county, and published once a week for four weeks in a county paper. This latter notice shall not be required if more than three dollars is charged for publishing it.
