CHAPTER 17. An act to regulate the issuing of liquor license in Northampton county. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That under this Act the Judge may make an order directing the Sheriff to issue a license to retail liquor within twelve months of the date of such order, and the license shall take effect from the time of its issue and continue as long as the law now or may hereafter direct. The license fee or tax shall be collected as the same is now collected in said county.
