CHAPTER 746 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH GRADED SCHOOLS IN MT, PROSPECT DISTRICT OF UNION COUNTY, AND FOR OTHER PUR- POSES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, druggist, apothecaries and dispensaries not excepted, to sell, to manufacture, barter or exchange, or purchase as the agents for any other person, or to deliver to any person, or to bring within or procure the bringing in any spirituous or fermented liquors for the purpose of delivery, within five miles of the said Mt. Prospect School District. Any person, firm or corporation violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction fined not less than $10 nor more than $500, or imprisoned for a term of not less than three months nor more than two years, or both fined and imprisoned, at the discretion of the court.
