CHAPTER 268 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 194 OF THE PRIVATH ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE YBHRAR 1897, RE- LATING TO THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH- ERN PINES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the proviso in section two thousand eight hundred and fifteen of The Code of North Carolina shall not apply to any election held upon the question of Stock Law or No Stock Law in any part of Moore County, until the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and five: Provided, that the corporate limits of the town of Southern Pines in said county shall be included in the district in which said election shall be held; but if any such election shall be held upon the question aforesaid, the corporate limits of the said town of Southern Pines being included in the territory in which said election shall be held, and at said election the majority of the votes cast shall be in favor of No Stock Law, then another election may be held upon said question under chapter twenty of The Code of North Carolina, and amendments thereto, in any territory including the corporate limits of said town, at any time before the said first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and five.
