CHAPTER 168 a . AN ACT TO CHARTER NAZARETH ORPHANS HOME, IN 4 THE COUNTY OF ROWAN.

It shall be unlawful for any person to set up or continue any gaming or billiard table, or any device whatever for playing at any game of chance or hazard, by whatever name called; or to make, sell, give or transmit to any inmate of the home, or to any one connected therewith, any spirituous or malt liquors, without the written permission of the superintendent of the home. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined or imprisoned, or both, in the discretion of the court.
