CHAPTER 516 AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE TOWN OF CERRO GORDO, IN COLUMBUS COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The lien of the town taxes shall attach to all real property subject to taxation on and after the third Monday in August of each year, and shall continue until such taxes, together with any penalty that shall accrue thereon, shall be paid. All personal property liable to taxation of tax-payers within the town shall be liable to be seized and sold, after ten days notice at the post-office and four other public places in said town, in satisfaction of taxes by the town constable after said taxes shall have become due and payable.
