CHAPTER 411 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSIONERS OF DAVIE COUNTY TO SELL THE PRESENT COURT-HOUSE AND SITE AND THE PRESENT JAIL-HOUSE AND SITE, TO BUY OTHER PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF MOCKSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, UPON WHICH TO ERECT A NEW | COURT-HOUSE AND JAIL, AND TO ISSUE BONDS FOR | SAID PURPOSES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That if said Commissioners shall deem it inadvisable and not for the best interest of Davie County to sell the property or buildings mentionedin section one of this act and buy other property upon which to erect a court-house and jail, then they may in their discretion issue the bonds provided for herein, or so much thereof as may be necessary to build a new court-house, or repair the present one on the present lot or site, or build a new jail on the present lot or site.
