CHAPTER 281 AN ACT TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC ROADS OF WAKE COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

When a bridge shall be necessary and the road trustees of the township cannot conveniently build it out of the township funds, the county commissioners, being satisfied that such is the fact, shall contract for the building, keeping and repairing thereof, and the same shall be a charge on the county.
