CHAPTER 281 AN ACT TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC ROADS OF WAKE COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Immediately upon the preparation and signing of said bonds the said board of county commissioners shall turn over to the Treasurer of Wake County all of said bonds, without the county seal having been affixed thereto, who shall, upon request of the chairman of the board of county commissioners, sell such of said bonds at such time or times as the board of county commissioners shall deem best, not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars in any one year. Upon the sale of said bonds the chairman of the board of county commissioners shall apply to the custodian of the seal of the county, whose duty it shall be to affix said county seal to the bond or bonds so sold, and no bond shall be of any value until said seal is so affixed.
