CHAPTER 768 AN ACT TO CORRECT STATE GRANT No. 44, ISSUED TO MARCUS L. GREEN IN 1871 The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby authorized, empowered and required to correct State grant Number Forty-four, issued March the twenty-seventh, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, by erasing the word Green wherever the same occurs and inserting in lieu thereof the word Queen.
