CHAPTER 4 AN ACT TO SUPPLY THE RECORD OF GRANTS IN MOORE COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That upon the certification of said record books, as herein provided, they shall be delivered to the custody of the register of deeds of Moore County and deposited in his office, and shall thereupon become the official record books of grants for the county of Moore as to the grants therein recorded, and import such verity, and have all the force and effect as the original record of said grants in said office; and the said record books, or a certified copy of any of the grants therein recorded, under the seal of the office of the register of deeds of said county may be introduced in evidence in any of the courts of the State. :
