CHAPTER 203 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 50, PUBLIC LAWS OF 1911, IN RELATION TO THE ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY AND THH COLLECTION OF TAXES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact: ARTICLE I. BoarD oF STATE TAX COMMISSIONERS.

Upon failure to pay to the State Treasurer within thirty days after the same shall have become due any tax which by law is made payable direct to the State Treasurer, it shall be the duty of the treasurer to report the same to the State Tax Commission, and upon receipt of such report it shall be the duty of the State Tax Commission to institute an action to enforce the same in the county of Wake or in the county in which the property taxed is located.
