CHAPTER 37 AN ACT TO WORK THE STATE CONVICTS ON PUBLIC ROADS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the State farm or penitentiary authorities or Council of State shall at all times reserve a sufficient number of convicts to properly cultivate and conduct the State farm.
