CHAPTER 147 AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF PUBLIC BONDS WITHOUT NOTICE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That any violation of this act by any person or persons, corporation or corporations, whose duty it shall be to issue and sell such bonds shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by fine or imprisonment, or both, in the discretion of the court.
