CHAPTER 291 AN ACT TO APPOINT MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY BOARDS OF EDUCATION. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the Secretary of State shall within sixty days after the ratification of this act send a certified copy of the names of the county boards of education appointed by this act for the respective counties to the clerk of the Superior Court of each county in the State; thereupon said clerk shall immediately notify each member of His appointment, and direct said members to appear at the courthouse on the first Monday of July thereafter for the purpose of qualifying as directed by law.
