CHAPTER 131 AN ACT TO REGULATE COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE IN SCHOOLS IN THE TOWN OF SPRUCE PINE IN MITCHELL COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That it shall be the duty of the principals, or teachers of such schools within said town of Spruce Pine to report weekly any violation of section one of this act to the school committee, county superintendent and public welfare officer, if there be one, whereupon it shall be the duty of such county superintendent or public welfare officer to enforce the provisions of this act as now provided by the general compulsory attendance law.
