CHAPTER 198 AN ACT TO PROVIDE LICENSES FOR THE ARTIFICIAL PROPAGATION OF FISH IN NORTH CAROLINA. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

No dams, ponds, or other devices which will prevent the free migration of fish shall be erected or placed by a person licensed under this act, in any stream, flowing over his property. No person shall use the ponds so licensed for any purpose other than for commercial fish purposes.
