CHAPTER 78 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE OF THE PRIVATE LAWS OF ONE THOU- SAND NINE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN OF NORTH CAROLINA, RELATIVE TO ELECTIONS IN THE CITY OF SALISBURY, AND DEFINING CERTAIN RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE CITY COUNCIL. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

All general municipal elections held in the City of Salisbury shall be held under and governed by the provisions of Chapter fifty-six of the Consolidated Statutes of North Carolina, and chapter one hundred and sixty-four of the Public Laws of one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine of North Carolina, being the Australian Ballot law, and amendments thereto, except as otherwise provided in this act.
