CHAPTER 457 AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR A STUDY BY THE TAX COMMISSION OF THE QUESTION OF LISTING AND ASSESSING PROPERTY FOR TAXATION. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That in making such study, it shall be the duty of said Commission and said Commission is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed, to make study and examination of the existing laws of this State and of other States on the subject; the needs of the State, and a comparison of the economic and other conditions of the State with other States.
