CHAPTER 785 AN ACT TO PROVIDE A PENSION OF THIRTY DOLLARS PER MONTH FOR ALL TEACHERS WHO HAVE AT- TAINED THE AGE OF SIXTY-FIVE YEARS, WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE TEACH- ERS AND STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYS- TEM, WHO HAVE TAUGHT IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM OF THE STATE FOR AT LEAST TWENTY YEARS, AND WHO ARE NOT ENGAGED IN SOME GAINFUL OCCUPATION. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification. Ratified this the 10th day of March, 1943 H. B. 858
