CHAPTER 1086 AN ACT TO RE-WRITE ARTICLE 2 OF CHAPTER 106 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES OF NORTH CAROLINA, KNOWN AS THE NORTH CAROLINA FERTILIZER LAW OF 1933, AS AMENDED. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Rules, Regulations, and Standards. The Board of Agriculture is authorized, after public hearing, to prescribe such rules and regulations as may be found necessary for the enforcement of this Act; and, upon recommendation of the Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station, to prescribe maximum chloring for tobacco fertilizer. All tobacco fertilizer must contain a minimum of two per cent magnesium oxide or its equivalent in magnesium.
