CHAPTER 299 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1291, SESSION LAWS OF NORTH CAROLINA, 1957, BEING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF EMERALD ISLE, RELATING TO CORPORATE POWERS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That Chapter 1291 of the Session Laws of North Carolina, 1957, is hereby amended by adding a new subsection to Section 4, which shall be numbered -8 immediately before the last paragraph of Section 4, to read as follows: (8) Nothing in this Chapter shall be interpreted to give the Town of Emerald Isle any power to regulate anything covered in Subchapters IV and V of Chapter 113 of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
