CHAPTER 317 AN ACT RELATING TO THE PUBLICATION OF BUDGET ESTIMATES, BUDGET RESOLUTIONS, AND BUDGET CHANGES IN AVERY COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
G. S. 153-121 is hereby amended by striking out the period at the end thereof, inserting a colon in lieu thereof, and adding the following words: Provided, however, that in Avery County a copy of the budget resolution shall, within twenty days after its adoption, be published in at least one newspaper published in the county and shall be in sufficient detail to show the separate appropriation for each county department, agency or activity; provided, that within twenty days of adoption of any amendment to the budget resolution or making any change in the appropriation for any county department, agency or activity in Avery County, there shall likewise be published within twenty days after such change or amendment, a detailed statement indicating all changes with respect to all county departments, agencies or activities.
