CHAPTER 342 AN ACT TO MAKE THE WILFUL DAMAGING OF OCCUPIED PROP- ERTY BY THE USE OF HIGH EXPLOSIVES A FELONY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Chapter 14 of the General Statutes is hereby amended by adding thereto the following Section: Sec. 14-49.1. Wilful Damage of Occupied Property. Any person who shall wilfully and maliciously damage or attempt to damage any dwelling, building, vehicle, real or personal property of any kind or nature, being at the time occupied by one or more other persons, by the use of nitroglycerine, dynamite, gunpower or other high explosive, shall be guilty of a felony, and on conviction shall be punished by imprisonment in the State prison for not less than 10 years and not more than life.
