CHAPTER 411 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 87 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1961 RELATING TO THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL AND TO REDEFINE THE TOWN LIMITS AND TO PROVIDE FOR CONTINUING ZONING JURISDICTION. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Any property as described in Section 1 of this Act and which by this Act was transferred from the Town of Carrboro to the Town of Chapel Hill shall remain subject to the zoning ordinance of the Town of Carrboro until the first day of August, 1967 unless the Town of Chapel Hill amends its zoning ordinance to include such area or areas and upon adoption of such amendment, the Chapel Hill Ordinance shall become effective.
