CHAPTER 65 AN ACT TO CREATE THE GOVERNORS COMMITTEE ON LAW AND ORDER. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Compensation of Members. The representatives of the North Carolina Association of Police Chiefs and the North Carolina Sheriffs Association and their alternates shall not be paid any compensation, except such per diem and travel allowance as is allowed State Commissions and Boards, when in attendance at meetings of the Committee. No other member of the Committee shall receive any subsistence, per diem, travel or expense allowance, or any other compensation for service on the Committee.
