CHAPTER 80 AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 153-9 TO GRANT TO BOARDS OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THE SAME AUTHORITY AS NOW GRANTED TO MUNICIPALITIES TO REGULATE ITINERANT MERCHANTS, PEDDLERS, HAWKERS AND SOLICITORS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

This Act shall apply to all counties as required by Article II, Section 29, of the Constitution of North Carolina. Sec. 244 If any person, firm or corporation shall violate any regulation or ordinance adopted pursuant to this Act, such person, firm or corporation shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not exceeding thirty days.
