CHAPTER CXXXTII. AN ACT FOR THE RELIEF OF HENRY WILLIAMS. Wuereas, Henry Williams, of the County of Edgecombe, is charged upon the tax list of the said county, by a mis- take of the list taker, with tax on the amount of eight thousand four hundred and sixty dollars, instead of eighty- four dollars and sixty cents, which was the TRUE amount given in by him; and, whereas, the term of the County Court has passed, at which the same could have been com- muted, the said Henry Williams not having any knowledge of said error : Now, therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the au thority of the same, That the said Henry Williams be, and he is hereby, released from the payment of tax on the above amount, in excess of the said sum of eighty-four dollars and sixty cents.
