CHAPTER 412 An act for the improvement of the public roads in Centre township in the county of Chatham. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :

That the moneys collected by the sheriff of Chatham county from such special tax shall be paid by him to such person as may be designated by the board of supervisors of the public roads of said township; and such person shall execute and deposit with the chairman of said board a bond to be approved by him in double the sum of taxes to be paid such person by said sheriff, conditioned for the faithful discharge of his duties.
