CHAPTER 528, An act to establish graded schools in the city of High Point. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That J. W. Jones, E. A. Snow, J. J. Cox, R. C. Charles and J. J. Welch be and they are hereby constituted a board of trustees for said graded schools; that said board shall have power to fill all vacancies in said board, employ teachers, and to do all such acts as may be necessary to carry on said schools.
