CHAPTER 1 An act to revise, consolidate and amend the insanity laws of this state. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact: _
It shall be the duty of any person having legal custody of the estate of such insane person to supply funds for’his support in the hospital in which he may be so placed during his stay therein, and so long as they may be sufficient for that purpose, over and beyond maintaining and supporting those persons who may be legally idependent on Pie estate as aforesaid.
