CHAPTER 264 AN ACT TO ALLOW THE TOWN OF MADISON, IN ROCK- INGHAM COUNTY, TO ISSUE BONDS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Madison shall give notice of the election to be held as provided in section six of this act, by four weeks notice in some newspaper published in said town, if any. and by thirty days notice posted in four public places in said town, stating the time and place of said election and the purpose thereof. They shall appoint a registrar and two judges of election for the purpose of this election, who shall have the powers now or hereafter conferred by the laws of the State on such officers, as far as the same may be applicable to this election.
