CHAPTER 407 AN ACT TO VACATE, NULLIFY AND DECLARE OF NO EF- FECT THE ORDER OF JUDGMENT RENDERED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR NORTHAMP- TON COUNTY ON OR ABOUT THE 11TH DAY OF DHCEM- BER, 1905, DECLARING STOCK LAW FOR OCCONNEE- CHEE TOWNSHIP IN SAID COUNTY, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE RETURN TO THE TAX-PAYERS OF SAID TOWN- SHIP THE TAXES LEVIED AND COLLECTED FROM THEM UNDER SAID ORDER OF JUDGMENT. Whereas, on or about the eleventh day of December, one thou- sand nine hundred and five, the Board of County Commissioners for Northampton County, upon petition, made an order declaring stock law for Occonneechee Township in said county and levy- ing a tax on the real property situated in said township for the ' purposes of building a fence around the said township and enforc- ing said order; and whereas the tax levied as aforesaid has been collected and is in the hands of the Treasurer of said county, and is totally insufficient to build a fence around said township as required by law: therefore, . The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the order or judgment of the Board of County Commissioners of Northampton County made on or about the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and five, declaring stock law for Occonneechee Township in said county, and levying a tax on the real property in said township for the purposes of enforcing their said order and building a fence around said township as is required by law, be and the same is vacated, nullified and declared to be of no effect, and the Board of Commissioners of said county shall levy no more taxes under said order.
