CHAPTER 50 AN ACT TO AMEND THE MACHINERY ACT OF 1913, WITH REFERENCE TO THE SETTLEMENT OF STATE TAXES. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That section one hundred and sixteen of the Machinery Act of one thousand nine hundred and thirteen be amended by striking out all of said section after the word Treasurer, in 3 line three, and inserting in lieu thereof the following: It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to institute an action to enforce the same in the county of Wake, or the county in which the property taxed is located.
