CHAPTER 64 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH AND REGULATE PRIMARY ELECTIONS IN THE CITY OF NEW BERN. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The primary ballots of each political party shall be separately printed upon paper of uniform quality, texture, and size; but the primary ballots of no two political parties shall be of the same color and tint. The city clerk shall at least fifteen days prior to the date of the primary post in a conspicuous place in his office an announcement of the color and size of the primary ballots of the respective parties, and shall also publish such announcement for at least one week in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the city.
