CHAPTER 236 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT THE STATE AUDI- TOR TO CAUSE TO BE EXAMINED THE ACCOUNTS OF ALL COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
This act shall not apply to counties having a duly constituted county auditor whose duties require all of his time. Nothing in this act shall prohibit the State Auditor from making such examinations as he thinks necessary in counties referred to in this section: Provided, these counties shall not be put at any additional expense.
