CHAPTER 1103 AN ACT TO AMEND HOUSE BILL SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-TWO ENTITLED AN ACT TO PREVENT HASTY MARRIAGES, RATIFIED THE TWENTIETH DAY OF MARCH, ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That House Bill seven hundred and sixty-two ratified the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the words Beaufort and Hyde from the list of counties to which this Act applies; it being the intent and purpose of this Act to exempt Beaufort and Hyde Counties from the provisions of said Act.
