CHAPTER 1455 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH PLANNING, ZONING, BUILDING REGU- LATIONS, AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS POWERS OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND FOR A DESCRIBED TERRITORY BEYOND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAY- ETTEVILLE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The boundaries of the territory within which the Board of County Commissioners of Cumberland County may exercise the aforesaid shall be as follows: Beginning at a point in the northern line of the present City of Fayetteville boundary, a distance of three hundred -300 feet West of the western right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 401 (otherwise known as Raleigh Road@), and running thence in a northerly direction along a line three hundred -300 feet to the West of and parallel with the western right-of-way of said U. S. Highway 401, to the center of McPhersons Creek; thence with center of said McPhersons Creek in an easterly direction across said highway to a point three hundred -300 feet East of the eastern right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 401; thence in a southerly direction along a line three hundred -300 feet to the East of and parallel with the eastern right-ofway of said U. S. Highway 401 to the present city boundary; thence with the present city boundary to the point of beginning; plus all of the acreage belonging to Methodist College, Inc.
