CHAPTER 299 AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR A GRADED SCHOOL IN THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSTON, N. C. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That the said Board of Graded School Trustees and their successors shall be and are hereby constituted a body corporate by the name and style of The Board of Graded School Trustees of Williamston; and by that name may sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, contract and be contracted with, acquire by gift, purchase or devise, real and personal property, hold, exchange, mortgage or sell the same, and exercise such other rights and privileges as are incident to other corporations. And said corporation shall have a corporate seal which it may break and change at pleasure.
